Damien’s Project was founded in 2016, after a young lady approached me in need 

of a place to reside after losing her foster mother to death and she couldn’t connect with her biological family. Earlier that year, a young man had also come to me for help and I was not able to help him due to me raising my children at that time. He expressed to me his desire to finish school and work to further his education. He  stated that he only needed a foundation and support to help him reach his goals, on that day I made a promise that no child would come to me again in need of help and I cannot help in some way, this is when I decided to open a non-profit organization that would provide resources to help young girls transitioning out of foster care into independent living with the credentials to become self-sufficient and productive women in society, through offering them Transitional Housing, education, financial literacy ,job connections, 

sexual behavior education, drug classes and education etc,.

Our Mission is to equip young girls ages 17 to 24 aging out of foster care into dependent living with strong core values and productive credentials to be self-sufficient and powerful women of society.Our amazing team of regular and part-time volunteers are committed to helping others. We've consistently grown since then, all thanks to the helping hands of this amazing community! We focus on making the maximum positive effort for our community.
